Poor pup

I have been trying to figure out what it is I should be writing about on here. I mean, I think I have two followers. Does it really matter what runs through my head everyday? Because that's the kind of thing I would be writing about and that just doesn't sound very exciting for anyone except for yours truely. Well here's a start....



Hugo had his man surgery today. Poor thing. Jeffrey dropped him off at 8:20 and he was done and already waking up before 10 am. It's amazing how quickly they can change my poor puppy's life forever. They said he needs to be on bed rest for the next four days. Now I am wondering if one of those doggie beds could actually be worth the twenty dollars. Maybe since he doesn't have all that testosterone anymore, he won't be tempted to eat the bed. The crate for four days just seems a little harsh. So to all those girl dogs out there....Hugo is officially off the market, although he might enjoy an occassional friendly stroll.



So Jeffrey brought back a nice little surprise from California last week...a sinus infection. He decided to share his surprise with me and I therefore have missed almost an entire week of work. Which did give me lots of time with Hugo before his surgery. And even though Jeffrey has been coming out of being sick, he has been very sweet and attentive to me. Sweet husband.



Ole Miss vs. Arkansas is this coming Saturday and I can tell you with full confidence, that I am not going to miss being in the grove or going to the game at all. Well maybe the game, but not the grove. The Alabama weekend in the grove just about killed me. There should never be that many people in the grove at the same time. I think I will probably be working at The Weather Vane, so if you're in town, come see me!



I am really really really really looking forward to next week. Sarah Hunt and I are meeting up with Lodie in Chicago for a long weekend! Much needed.
